Rally for Rikki: Pique is the second installment in the Rally for Rikki fundraiser series. Featuriing the indelible Sunbears!, the intoxicating post rock of moyamoya, and the Juicy Pony.

Tampa’s Creative Loafing called Sunbears! “dreamy cascading pop loveliness and grandiose walls of iridescent hallucinogenic sound.”

Moyamoya are something of a little secret, but their music is incredible. If you don’t believe me, just look at what EU Jacksonville says: “Over the past five years, the band has carefully structured a handful of masterful songs. They are dreamy, they are invigorating, they are destructive, they will, without a doubt, take you places.”

The show is at Underbelly in downtown (113 E Bay St) and the cost to get in is $12, 100% of which goes to Rikki’s treatments. We will also have limited edition Sunbears! colored vinyl records, Rally for Rikki shirts by Tact, and Thrilla from Manilla limited edition art projects curated by Tom Pennington for sale to help raise more funds.

Looking for something to do on a lovely springtime hump day in Jacksonville? Downtown is where you want to be tonight because we’re hosting 3 out of town bands that you need to be exposed to!

Making the rounds south after shows at SXSW, the Underbelly stage will be graced with sounds from AVOXBLUE, Andre Obin and Stereo Telescope Wed, 3/20/13! Coming from Boston these bands are gaining momentum in the electronic music scene and it’s obvious why… their ambient-electro-pop-synth-dream-shoegaze will float you into an alternate universe.
